This is a beautiful piece of machinery that comes as a single turned aluminium barrel plus four brass fittings and a small brass fret to make up the muzzle brake.
The turned aluminium barrel includes the fine striations of the lathe that are found on the real gun and the muzzle includes fine rifling detail even though once the muzzle brake is on this is nearly impossibe to see without a magnifying glass and direct lighting. One of the four brass fittings is a pre-fitted collar and locking ring with the proper holes which were for the tool used to undo the ring. The brass fittings for the muzzle brake are equally well made and fit together beautifully.
There are no instructions for assembling this barrel but there is a basic photo assembly guide on thiswebsite that should aid in showing what goes where.
This is a beautiful piece of kit and the level of detail just way outdoes any kit supplied gun. If you want the very best when you’re building your Wespe or leFH 18 then this is definitely one to add to the upgrade parts list.
